All of our villas and apartments are fully furnished and equipped. The kitchens have a dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas stove/electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishes, pots, pans & all utensils. The living rooms offer a flat-screen television and DVD player. Central heating is available in the three-bedroom apartments/villas. All properties are serviced once a week.

Situated within a 10-minute drive from the picturesque and famous market town of Barcelos, this stone-built cottage went through a huge renovation project finished in July 2012. All comfort and modern facilities were added to the original building creating this spectacular holiday villa that we are now pleased to make available to our clients wishing to visit the beautiful and unspoilt Minho region.

The villa offers complete privacy and is set on a large plot with a beautiful enclosed garden with a lawn, a large outdoor barbecue kitchen, a private pool, a children’s plunge pool and a multi-sports area. Facilities include WIFI internet and air conditioning in the main house.

Single storey villa

Open plan fully fitted kitchen and lounge area with doors opening onto the front terrace and pool area. The kitchen is fully equipped with a granite counter and backsplash, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, etc. Breakfast bar with 4 stools. The lounge has 2 comfortable sofas, Sat Tv, a DVD player and a music centre. 3 double bedrooms of which 2 have twin beds and 1 has a double bed and a shower room suitable for the disabled. An extra bed or cot is available for a child (7th person).

Adjacent to the main house is a separate stone building with a large dining table, an open fireplace and a summer kitchen leading onto a covered patio with a large built-in barbecue and outdoor furniture for alfresco dining where you can enjoy panoramic views.

Exterior

A beautiful stone-walled garden with a paved courtyard, a large private pool (10 X 5 metres/depth from 0,90 to 1.5 metres), a children’s pool, and a sports area with football goals, basketball, tennis and badminton. Sandbox for small children. A shaded vegetable garden area on the lower level just off the pool area, where you can help yourself to ripe tomatoes and peppers! Pergola-covered veranda and a private parking space for two cars with direct access to the villa.

An extra bed can be placed at an additional cost of 75€ per booking.

Luxury, spaciousness and tranquillity are some of the keywords we can use to describe the atmosphere of this remarkable recently fully renovated 19th Century Farmhouse (original building dates back to 1860), carefully designed and lovingly restored to create a truly stylish and comfortable Portuguese retreat. Attention has been paid to detail and everything was considered to ensure all guests enjoy a warm and remarkable stay. This beautiful renovation is an elegant fusion of the Minho Region charm and tradition with contemporary furnishings and modern conveniences. Some of the original features were carefully kept (and fully renovated) such as handmade plaster ceilings, wooden floors and stone terraces. Together with the terracotta floors and exceptional outdoor furnishings, the result could only be a distinctive property that we are pleased to feature in our programme. The formal extensive gardens with many different quaint areas invite guests to relax in the shade or enjoy their meals outdoors. The large swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace with large comfortable sun loungers. Set at the end of the property is an admirable Noria, kept in its original condition. This is an ancient hydro-powered mill used to lift water into an aqueduct.

The old fishing village of Esposende is just 1.3 km away, which is great if you are looking to tantalise your taste buds with local delicacies or perhaps wine and dine for a special occasion. The sandy beaches are only 3.4 km away. These beaches are well-known for kite surfing and other watersports. Quinta da Barca golf course can be found within a 5-minute drive. The horse riding centre is also a short drive away. There are 2 padel courts only 800m from the villa. Oporto town centre is within a 30-minute drive. The old town centre is classified as a World Heritage Site.

Uniquely located in the heart of Europe’s last great wilderness, the Peneda-Geres National Park, this delightful charming villa with a private swimming pool overlooks the river Cávado and the peaceful Caniçada dam.

Among the breathtaking forests, are the translucent cascading waters and the unforgettable sights. Gerês is one of Portugal’s more attractive Natural Regions, considered by UNESCO to be a World Biosphere Reserve.
The villa has a lovely atmosphere and displays a pleasing range of carefully chosen furnishings to provide comfort for guests. It is set within a private walled garden where a stylish private swimming pool was recently added. A comfortable sitting room opens onto a shaded terrace overlooking the pool, with a table and chairs perfect for outside eating.

This property is set on a private condominium of around 4 hectares of land surrounded by protected land due to the environmental interest of this location. Besides the villa, private garden and swimming pool, guests have the right to use the communal facilities including a large swimming pool and large lawns with with panoramic views.

Various activities can be enjoyed due to the natural setting with nature activities such as fishing, canoeing, water sports and hiking.

The Cavado River, with its clear, clean water, is about a 7-minute walk from the villa. There is a restaurant in the nearby village centre (about 1,600 metres away) which produces good local food. Other facilities in this location include a cafe/bar and minimarket. The larger and historic village of Vieira do Minho is only 4 km. away.

Situated in Albufeira do Ermal (Santa Marta – Rossas) and approximately 10 km from the villa, Ermal Cable Park is a teleski cable wake park offering a wide range of skis: mono-ski; biped-ski; or ski with a plank as well as a boat to transport people who may fall along the way.

Set in an elevated position with immaculate sea views, this superb-designed holiday villa is ideal for holidaymakers seeking privacy and high-quality accommodation.

Extremely easy to reach (only a 50-minute drive from Porto International Airport) this villa is situated 4 km away from the white sandy beaches of Caminha, a charming traditional Portuguese fortified border town steeped in history, where several battles were fought between Portugal and Spain. Nowadays, this town enjoys much more friendly relations with its neighbour and there is a daily ferry boat linking the two banks of the river. Standing on a tiny island in the middle of the estuary are the ruins of the fort of Ínsua, built to defend the entrance to the river in the fifteenth century.

The sands of Vila Praia de Âncora (10 minutes away from the villa) extend from the fishing port over to the Âncora river which reaches the coast here after its 15-kilometre descent through the Serra de Arga hills, an attractive natural environment, which features some good walking conditions. This enormous beach experiences some strong Atlantic waves which means high-quality surfing. This town is also famous for the variety of good seafood and fresh fish restaurants.

This four-bedroom villa is very generous in size with a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Step into the entrance hall and feel the light come flooding through. When it’s time to explore the local area, step just a few meters south towards the beach and you’ll find yourself on the beloved Praia de Gale. The golden beach of Gale stretches far and wide with many delicious restaurants, water sports, and bustling bars along the promenade. There are many activities to do and places to explore in Gale itself but nearby just 5km away is the town of Albufeira.
