Hi-tec in style and very well-equipped with lovely light rooms allowing the indoor and outdoor living spaces to merge into one. The interiors have been tastefully furnished with great care in a relaxing yet elegant style. The house has also been equipped with all modern facilities; the kitchen is very well appointed and connects to the living room with doors opening onto a large terrace ideal for alfresco dining. The spacious lawned garden offers the guests many lovely corners where they can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular views over the ocean.

Extremely easy to reach, this villa is in an absolutely central position: only 3 km away from Moledo beach – from the train station you can travel to Vigo in Spain or south to Viana do Castelo historic centre – and 3 km from the old Roman town of Caminha (with various good quality restaurants, cafes, bars, lively promenades and open air esplanades around the Minho river’s waterfront) and 30 km from the delightful old historic town of Viana do Castelo, famous for its ancient monuments and long sandy beaches. Basic facilities such as a minimarket, shops, restaurants, etc, can be found in the town centre.

Luxury, spaciousness and tranquillity are some of the keywords we can use to describe the atmosphere of this remarkable recently fully renovated 19th Century Farmhouse (original building dates back to 1860), carefully designed and lovingly restored to create a truly stylish and comfortable Portuguese retreat. Attention has been paid to detail and everything was considered to ensure all guests enjoy a warm and remarkable stay. This beautiful renovation is an elegant fusion of the Minho Region charm and tradition with contemporary furnishings and modern conveniences. Some of the original features were carefully kept (and fully renovated) such as handmade plaster ceilings, wooden floors and stone terraces. Together with the terracotta floors and exceptional outdoor furnishings, the result could only be a distinctive property that we are pleased to feature in our programme. The formal extensive gardens with many different quaint areas invite guests to relax in the shade or enjoy their meals outdoors. The large swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace with large comfortable sun loungers. Set at the end of the property is an admirable Noria, kept in its original condition. This is an ancient hydro-powered mill used to lift water into an aqueduct.

The old fishing village of Esposende is just 1.3 km away, which is great if you are looking to tantalise your taste buds with local delicacies or perhaps wine and dine for a special occasion. The sandy beaches are only 3.4 km away. These beaches are well-known for kite surfing and other watersports. Quinta da Barca golf course can be found within a 5-minute drive. The horse riding centre is also a short drive away. There are 2 padel courts only 800m from the villa. Oporto town centre is within a 30-minute drive. The old town centre is classified as a World Heritage Site.

The depth is from 1.20 to 1.40 metres – the first 2 metres are only 20cm deep ideal to lie in and cool off. It is possible to heat the pool at an extra cost. Portable barbecue. Car parking area.
